As a second cousin to Amelia Earhart, Nancy Earhart Burt is in a unique position to share stories and information about Amelia’s life. Amelia Earhart spent a few summers in the Worthington, MN area, so the audience will get to learn more about local ties to her life story.
Nancy will present an entertaining and educational slide show of Amelia Earhart’s life including audio and video clips. The program is divided into two distinct parts. In the first half, Nancy arrives in costume as Amelia and shares her amazing life story including her childhood and what jumpstarted her interest in flying. In the second half, Nancy returns and shares the rest of Amelia’s story. This program is funded by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
